Voice, Violin and Piano Teacher

Phoebe is a multi instrumental teacher with over a decade of experience teaching voice, violin and
piano. During her Bachelors of music (classical vocal performance) Phoebe also took specialty
studies in musical pedagogy and conducting. Phoebe holds a Masters of Music (Operatic
Performance) and has performed as a guest artist with some of Australia’s premier musical
ensembles including the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, The Royal Melbourne Philharmonic,
Victorian Opera and The State Opera of South Australia. Phoebe teaches beginner to advanced
vocal students, and has prepared vocal students for roles in shows, auditions and performances.
As a vocal teacher Phoebe’s primary focus is teaching healthy vocal technique – something that
can be taught whether a student wants to learn pop, music theatre, classical and everything in-
between. She strongly believes everyone can learn to sing, and creates a lesson environment of
support which helps students take creative risks and learn to love their voices. Phoebe studied up
to AMUS violin, and also teaches beginner – grade 5 piano. Phoebe encourages a strong
foundation in music theory and reading, as well as promoting technique which helps students
progress without losing their love of the instrument. Most importantly, Phoebe’s music lessons are
a space to explore music in a way which feels exciting and fun, without compromising on
technique. She hopes that all her students walk away with music as a core part of their lives, and
something that brings them joy for many years to come
