Let’s introduce you to the tutors for our VCE courses!
Hi, my name is Steven. I will be studying a graduate package of science/engineering at Melbourne University. Having completed year 12 in 2020, I’ve achieved an ATAR of 99.20 with a study score of 48 in Mathematical Methods and 40+ in EAL, Specialist Mathematics, and Chinese as a First Language, and I am supremely confident in teaching mathematics from year 7-12.

With my 6 years’ experience of studying math, I know firsthand most of the difficulties that lie on your path.

I hope with my help, you can easily exceed the rest of the class. In fact, I will put you ahead of the regular course schedule as long as you’re capable.

I am also happy to discuss any regular school work that you have or help you to better understand the concept and knowledge you were previously taught but did not quite grasp.

Here is a list of my qualifications showcasing my level of expertise:

Australian Mathematics Competition – High Distinction

Distinction Certificate Math Yr. 9

Distinction Certificate Math Yr. 10

Chinese as a First Language Unit3/4 Prize

Several academic awards…….

Hey everyone!I’m Oscar. I graduated in 2020 with an ATAR of 99.95 and have already amassed over 50 hours of face-to-face and online tutoring experience. This year, I’m offering individual and group tutoring sessions for the following subjects: Methods [47], Specialist [47], Chemistry [50], Literature [50], UCAT [3450].

Having begun preparing for my 3/4 exams since Year 11, I am 100% up-to-date with the full VCAA study designs and know all the examiners’ ‘nasty’ little tricks.

I am a big fan of having fun while you learn. I love to create hilarious analogies and diagrams to ensure you will never forget important concepts ever again.

I am all about that JUICY strategy and hacks which maximize your learning efficiency (especially with the hella annoying UCAT!).

I also believe that the role of a tutor extends far beyond academic support. So I’m always keen for any wild discussions about careers, philosophy and general well-being outside of class time.

I’m based in the South-East suburbs for in-person sessions. I also offer online tutoring via Zoom. Worried about a language barrier?Breathe. I’m available to teach in either English or Mandarin as I am a native speaker of both languages.
