Yinchi Liu

Piano Teacher

Yinchi Liu is a passionate piano teacher who brings a truly inclusive approach to her teaching, with a special focus on guiding gifted children and those with additional needs. A pianist since the age of five, she passed the Chinese Musicians’ Association Grade 10 piano performers’ examination—the top grade—at just 12 years old, alongside a Grade 9 in child singing (also the highest level) and a Grade 2 in essential music knowledge with aural skills/dictation certification. Her teaching is shaped by a rich and diverse background—she holds a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, a Master of Science from EDC Paris Business School, and a Bachelor of Marketing from RMIT University.

Currently working as a Support Teacher in the Special Learning Unit at Melbourne Montessori College, Yinchi has developed a deep understanding of how to connect with and nurture every child’s unique abilities. Beyond the piano studio, she is also a Tennis Australia Level 1 Development Coach and holds a Certificate III in Sport Coaching, where she specialises in coaching players with autism through the NDS community. This broad experience allows her to create a warm, structured, and encouraging space where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to explore music at their own pace.
